Can we generally expect to see the original lineup of the Joker Quartet?

We try to accommodate all your requests, especially during the summer months. In the rare case of a double booking (two events on the same day), our original lineup may be split up and play at your event together with trained, professional, and well-rehearsed musicians. If you explicitly want the original lineup, please let us know in advance! :-)

What can you be booked for?

We perform at all kinds of events. Whether as a live act with entertaining moderation or atmospheric accompaniment for a wedding: we offer you years of experience, enabling us to develop the ideal musical concept for every occasion.

How does the booking process work?

You can easily send us your non-binding booking request using our contact form. We will get back to you promptly with suitable offers. If you have any questions, you can contact us at any time by email, phone, or WhatsApp Business. If you like our offers, we will arrange an appointment for a phone call or a Zoom meeting with you to get to know you and respond to your specific wishes personally. Following the conversation, we will draw up an artist contract in consultation with you, which will list all the details discussed in writing and protect both sides. About a month before your big day, we will contact you again to coordinate all the finer details with you. Of course, you can also contact us at any time beforehand—whether you need further information, have a question, or have a spontaneous idea—we are happy to help you realize your musical vision at any time!

Do you also play at events abroad?

Yes! Because no distance is too far for us when it comes to you. We are not only available throughout Germany, but everywhere for you.

Questions about your event

What do you need on site to be able to play music for us?

We need four chairs without armrests and good protection from direct sunlight and rain. A shaded spot is ideal when we play outside. As a rule, we play purely acoustically and without electronic amplification at private events such as weddings. This allows us to provide the perfect volume for pleasant background music that you can easily converse over. If you would like us to amplify our quartet electronically—which is not a requirement for us—please let us know during our planning discussions.

How many songs do you play on average at a wedding ceremony?

We usually play between 2 and 5 songs during the ceremony. Typical moments for music are: the entrance of the bride, the exchange of rings, during a ritual (for non-religious weddings), after intercessions (for church weddings), during communion (for church weddings), and the exit of the bride and groom after the wedding ceremony.

Können wir uns Lieder für unser Event wünschen, auch wenn diese nicht in eurem Repertoire aufgeführt sind?

Can we request songs for our event, even if they are not listed in your repertoire?

What happens if a musician in the quartet suddenly falls ill?

Don't worry: we always have qualified replacement musicians on standby who can step in at short notice to replace one of our original musicians in the worst-case scenario. So you're completely covered.

Questions about fees and payment

Can we make our payment in two transfers?

That's no problem at all. Since we work with down payments anyway, you can easily split the payments. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact us.

How are your fees calculated?

There is more work involved in our music than just the actual live performance on your big day. In addition to rehearsals (1-3 rehearsals per job), travel and the associated costs, paying the individual musicians, preparing quotes and contracts, and providing you with personalized advice over the phone, we also have to organize and plan the music for your event. We always want to offer you the highest quality, which is why we give 100% for you, not only during the live performance itself, but also throughout the entire preparation phase.

Why aren't your fees much higher if you play half an hour of music instead of just three songs, for example?

This is because we need to spend a similar amount of time on site. Whether we play just three songs or a full half hour, we always arrive well before the event starts to warm up and check the acoustics. So, regardless of how long we play, we block out a certain time slot on your date, which is then no longer available to other interested parties.
